Overview
Connect Shortcut and Notion to make it easier for your product, design, and engineering teams to stay in sync. This integration helps everyone stay aligned by showing key Shortcut work like Stories, Epics, and Docs right inside the Notion pages your team is already using. Whether you're managing OKRs, prepping for a launch, or sharing project docs, it’s a simple way to keep your work and plans connected.
How it Works
When you paste a Shortcut link into Notion it turns into a preview badge that shows useful details like the name, status, ID, last activity, assigned team, and owner. These badges stay up to date automatically if anything changes in Shortcut, so you don’t have to copy things over manually. You can also choose how the links show up in Notion: as a full preview, a minimal mention, or just a plain URL. If you’re using Notion for things like launch checklists or goals, you can use our templates to bring that work together with what’s happening in Shortcut.
Configure
You can connect Shortcut and Notion from either app. In Notion, go to Settings & Members > My Connections, find the Shortcut integration, and click the three dots to choose which Shortcut Workspace you want to link. In Shortcut, head to the Integrations panel and follow the steps to connect your Workspace to Notion. Once the connection is set up, you’ll be able to paste Shortcut links directly into Notion pages and choose how you want them to appear.
